Yoga with Colie Belieu

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Colie moved to Utah in 2013 and found home in beautiful Park City! With various specialty yoga studios in town, Colie found her place at the locally owned Park City Yoga Studio. Though she began her training in a 200 hour Vinyasa and Thai Yoga Massage Teacher Training through Reflections Yoga an opportunity to deepen her practice and education was presented in 2014 with an 85 hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training through Utah Prenatal Yoga. This experience gave her an opportunity to work with women in a special facet of women’s health, offering support for mothers through Prenatal Yoga Classes, during a time when they are nurturing their bodies and growing babies. She soon completed the Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training, offered through the same organization, and began to establish a Motherhood Series, teaching mothers from pregnancy, to birth and into the postpartum experience. Through her trainings, continued education and experiences with local women’s health colleagues, Colie’s classes have evolved to support and guide mamas on their journey into motherhood. She moved her classes online with the onset of the global pandemic, COVID 19, adapting her offerings to local and remote mothers alike. Colie and her husband became pregnant in the summer of 2020 inspiring her to start a blog, Journey into Motherhood, to share, inspire and support fellow mothers through her prenatal experiences, practices in yoga, breath work, meditation and nutrition.

In 2020 she expanded her education by completing a Kids Yoga & Meditation training through Go Go Yoga for Kids and then in 2022 she completed her RYT 500 training with Your Yoga Flow. She is currently working on becoming a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist through Core Exercise Solutions.

~Being a yoga teacher has given me the opportunity to sit as a teacher, while as the same time embark on a lifelong journey as a student. I feel at home gravitating towards other yogis who share the same interests in learning and sharing knowledge with students seeking strength, peace and healing in mind, body and soul. In every yoga class I teach, my foremost goal is to provide a healing, empowering and sacred space for any and all beings to develop their own physical, mental and spiritual yoga practice.~

Mountain Desert Farms

Located in the heart of beautiful Peoa, UT, Mountain Desert Farms is your local mountain town flower farm and resource for garden education!

Colie and her loving husband Chase started Mountain Desert Farms in the summer of 2020 in an effort to bring locally grown flowers and high altitude gardening education to the greater Park City community. Having grown up in the Northwest, when Colie moved to Utah in 2013 and met Chase, she had a lot to learn about gardening in the mountains. She soon submersed herself in learning all she could about the local flora and fauna in a high altitude desert climate through her work Park City Gardens, Copper Moose Farms, Mountain Songs Farm and Summit Community Gardens. Through these jobs Colie grew vegetables, herbs and annual and perennial flowers, developing a special interest in flower design and arrangements. Mountain Desert Farms offers spring seedlings, locally grown flowers flowers and gardening classes to local businesses, organizations and individual clients!

Colie’s loving aunt once called Colie an artist of nature, which couldn’t be more true through her work arranging flowers, seasonal flower pots and holiday decor. Colie loves to work with different mediums of flora and fauna to create beautifully designed decor for clients to enjoy year round! Established in 2019, Colie is thrilled to find have created lasting relationships with enthusiastic clientele in the beautiful town of Park City which she can bring the joy of nature to each and every season!

I enjoy the simplicities in life, spending most of my free time outdoors with my loving partner, Chase, and my dog, Frida. I believe there is an inner truth inside each one of us connecting us to the natural world. By taking time to draw our awareness inward through yoga and meditation, as well as listening and learning from our Mother Earth, we can live in harmony with the deepest rhythms of nature.
